Step 1: Get a monogram
First, you’ll need a monogram or wedding logo. If you don’t already have a monogram design take a look inside my monogram shop. You just might find the perfect monogram for you!
Step 2: Decide on one or two
You can do two vow books (one each for you and your partner). Or, if you want just one keepsake, you can do one vow book which holds both your vows. If doing one vow book you will give it to the officiant to hold during the ceremony, instead of both of you holding your own books.
Option 1: Paper vow books
For a simple paper vow book I recommend Luna Paper Company. Luna Paper has many beautiful predesigned options to choose from but they also accept custom artwork that can be printed on the cover of your vow books. You would just need to contact them directly about this.
Option 2: Linen, leather, silk or velvet vow books
For monogrammed linen, leather, silk, or velvet vow books I recommend Blue Sky Papers. They use the embossing technique to press your monogram into the fabric cover of your vow book. This creates a one of a kind design, but thus the higher price tag because a custom metal die has to be created.
