Monogrammed plastic cups can be a fun and beautiful alternative to glassware that work especially well during cocktail hour. While I’m not personally a fan of plastic cups at weddings, they may be your only option if your venue does not allow glassware outdoors or if renting glassware is outside your budget. Here is how you can make your plastic cups look more higher end by personalizing them with your wedding monogram.

Step 1: Get a monogram

First, you’ll need a monogram or wedding logo. If you don’t already have a monogram design take a look inside my monogram shop. You just might find the perfect monogram for you!

Step 2: Consider the details

  • The number of plastic cups you'll need to purchase depends on guest count, what you're using them for (is it just for cocktail hour?) and if you're also having glassware. Talk to your caterer or venue coordinator to get the correct number.
  • Since double sided printing is offered for cups take advantage of the space! You can print your monogram or your names and wedding date on the other side.

Step 3: Order your monogrammed plastic cups

My favorite provider for monogrammed plastic cups is GB Design House. I love that they accept custom artwork for no additional fee and can print it on your cups of choice. They have many different types of cups to choose from. However, their most popular option among wedding planners is their shatterproof frosted cups. These hold up very well and their matte appearance displays printed artwork nicely. Apart from plastic cups, you can also get monogrammed napkins, stir sticks, koozies, and matchboxes from GB Design House.

As you can see, by personalizing your plastic cups you can make it look like you're using them deliberately, instead of just making your wedding look cheap. I hope this inspires and helps you in your wedding planning. For more inspiration and vendor recommendations for monogramming please grab our free resource guide below!
